Bombay House fire, three dead

Bombay House, which is the headquarters for the Tata Group offices has reportedly caught fire, killing three people. The building is in South Mumbai.

The fire started off at 9:20 in the morning today at the basement of the building and quickly spread. Though, being an office building, fire safety measures were in place, the fire fighters have confirmed that the death rate is expected to grow further. "Three men died at the St. George Hospital after they were admitted with severe burn injuries," said a fire brigade official, quoted by The Times of India.

The flames have been brought under control, but the amount of damages is not clear yet. Watch this space for more updates about the Bombay House fire.
